Lila for Mu’umu’u Month

A series of 35mm film photos shot during Mu’umu’u month in Hawaii. This series of photographs has been an idea waiting to be born for years- vintage mu’u, all black and white. The inspiration behind this shoot was the exploration of belonging to place and holding reverence for the culture and land of which you are born.
